I'm new on the forum so I hope this is posted in the correct section.
Anyways, this nerd just bought a used mx7000 and a bo vcr. Cool! Not so cool is the fact that I can only get to a state where the game is actually on screen when I connect through the vcr aux, using a composite cable.
As far as I have understood the specs of the tv it should take rgb on both ports, and either rgb OR composite should be fine.
I tried the socket setup on av2 as vtape, decoder, aux and nothing seems to work. The tv doesnt seem to detect it. At one point, using composite, I would get sound but no picture using vtape. I thought maybe the change to a rgb cable would sort that out but now I dont get anything.
The menu system and overall intuitiveness of the tv model is sooooo bad.
I saw a dude on youtube setting the av2 port to Aux and bam! Easy as that. Maybe he did something on the remote that I cant se or understand...
Anyway, found this forum when googling for info and thought maybe theres some1 here that can shed some light on this puzzle.
