DreamCast 480p to 240p downscale solution?

Hello there.. I am looking for a solution to downscale DreamCast at 480p to 240p. I have a toro and a hanzo but and an ultracade UVC but the ultracade UVC does not work with those devices. Which other devices work is known to work for downscaling on the dreamCast? I am not looking for the native 480i solution.. thanks for the feedback.

Yup the toro does not work with the UVC. I’ve tried to get it to play nice with it but no matter what settings I try, I’m unable to get a clean image.

The box that does work well with the UVC is the cheap Chinese made DC VGA Box, the one with the clear case:


I’ve used it in both 15 and 24khz mode, picture is great. Here’s one of my streams using this setup:

I can’t seem to find any places other than EBay. There are a few listed there right now. Unfortunately they’re pricey.
These used to be common, but looks like they’re harder to come by now.
