Extron Crosspoint Ultra / 450 Plus, etc. BUTTON GRAPHICS

Post by Dochartaigh »

I thought I posted these before (maybe it was elsewhere), but while I was posting these in my crosspoint touchscreen remote topic, I thought they would helpful for others in a more visible topic of their own. These will give the back-lit buttons of your Extron Crosspoint Ultra, or Extron Crosspoint 450 Plus a nice custom look:

All you do is print them out at 100% SCALE (NO 'fit to page' or 'shrink to fit' or anything like that), then use the little tick 'crop marks' to cut each button to size with an Xacto knife (or scissors, razor blade, whatever). Pry off your button on the Extron Crosspoint, take out the number that's in there (pry it out if you have too - they can sometimes get jammed in there), and replace with the cut-out piece of paper and pop the button back in.

I find printing on regular ~24lb printer paper works best - if you use anything thicker like the glossy type of paper not much light can pass-through. I also find that the black and white logos (or at least darker logos on a pure white background) look the nicest when they're back-lit (colors tend to wash out when backlit, and logos on a black or dark color background don't let enough light pass through).
