So, I pulled open an original Xbox today (not this one) and, surprise surprise, the clock cap had shamefully soiled itself. In the process of said soiling, it had also corroded two of the nearby transistors completely off the motherboard, namely the ones circled in this image:

It's a version 1.4 board, and after some gnashing of teeth I plugged it in and fired it up to see what the damage might be. Surprisingly, it still seems to work just fine. Does anyone have any idea what this section of the board is responsible for and what, if any, consequences of these two components being stripped off may have for the system?
