xbox 360 to Wells Gardner K7000?

Hey guys, what's the best way to do this to get the lowest lag / best looking picture? I've read a bunch on the topic (in general). I'm thinking of using an SCART cable, cutting off the SCART end and installing a DB15 connector. From there, run it into an Extron device (which one? I don't want to add lag...so no Emotia...but want to get close with the de-flicker functionality) and then to an Ultramarc video amp..THEN to the monitor.

Does that sound reasonable?
