I've been looking into using a Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor, or some other such device, to help eliminate the buzz from my noisy Famicom. I love its sound, but I use tower speakers or headphones with it, and the noise during silence of low sound can be annoying. I got the idea from this Japanese NES Band video where a member talks about using one of these to get rid of the buzz during their live performances (pretty cool video as a whole: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmGvN3fmsbY).
Does anyone have any experience with something like this? Should one expect any issues with the noise gate clipping some legitimate low frequency audio from the system's 4 channels, or from the additional channels of FDS/expanded audio carts?

I've always wondered how this might affect a gaming setup, seeing as it works well for quieting ground loop noise on guitar amps: https://amzn.to/2Poeivh
