But, you rarely see BNC or DB15 cables for 15khz consoles. If you have to use a scart to BNC adapter for each one then that could eat up any saving for the scart switcher.
Retro-Access makes both BNC and DE-15 cables for everything. I also have dongles in the works for NTSC genesis and SNES that will have DE-15 and 3.5mm audio ports
I checked out their site. I hadn't seen their BNC cables before. I couldn't see any DB15 cables. Have you seen them for Snes and Genesis etc?

Their prices are way too high to be worth it IMO. $55 for a SNES or Genesis RGB cable is insane. You could literally buy a scart cable and a decent scart to BNC adapter for each console for less than one of their BNC cables (per console). Plus, you'd still need an RGB switch on top.

If the point is to find the most economical and convenient solution to connect multiple old consoles to a single RGB port, a scart switch is still the way to go. Scart cables for most of those consoles cost less than $8 and a 6 console switch cost $180 in America and considerably less if purchased in Europe.

Scart switches are far less specialist in EU and they benefit from volume and experience. I.e. You get professionally made scart accessories for appropriate prices VS some guy making them one by one in his basement here in America. For example:

https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9208250

With all that said, the numbers change depending on how many consoles you have and what cables and adapters you own already.
They offer DE-15 cables for all consoles but you have to use the custom cable builder to order one. All their stuff is essentially made to order anyway so it's not a big difference.

Their prices are totally reasonable when you compare them to other COAX cables. Non-coax A/V cables are garbage and can't be compared directly on price. An ebay SCART cable (hell or even some of the OEM's ones) vs. a retro-access SCART cable is apples and oranges.

Okay, you make great points here and RGB SCART leads are better than BNC in the sense that you're putting sound and picture into one cables. Most of my experience goes to SCART sure, that said, if you were going to get a SCART switcher stay away from that one. I own that piece of crap and it muddied up my signal. It matters what SCART switches you're using, you can't go wrong with the powered ones such as the Thor switcher and the Keene. In some cases there are quality non-powered ones such as the MadKatz and the Hama switch though generally the ones that come with a power plug are better than those two. Finding a 6 way SCART switcher with a power plug is tough, in America you're screwed if you're trying to find one. It took me a year to get my Shinybow brand new. Quality BNC switch might be easier to find and easier to locate ones that input multiple consoles.

Even if you have a full setup dominated by another connector already it may be worth to switch to something better. I went full DB-15 for all my RGB outputs with custom-order cables from RA to an Extron VGA box and never looked back. I sold all my SCART cables (also by RA) to cover most of the cost.

Been watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rew4ijsWoXM

Came in mighty handy now I know how to connect my BNC to RGB cables when they get here. Hey guys, I noticed in the video dude had to manually switch from RGB to Component signal to match the corresponding cable that was plugged in. I have to imagine this is the case for the PVM as well? I looked in the TV manual I couldn't find where to switch the signals. It be nice if the TV switched up automatically rather than using the PS2 way. (PS2 required you to switch from RGB to Component and vice-versa through the system menu)

yes you have to toggle the PVM between RGB and component depending on what kind of source you are inputting

Let's say I were to connect an Original Xbox, what type of cable adapter should I seek through ebay or amazon?

for original xbox I would recommend seeking out the OEM component cables that do NOT use the breakout box, and pairing that with 3 RCA to BNC adapters like this https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/ ... -ND/385338

I've seen way to many of the breakout box ones fail in various ways

Sounds good, is there a difference if I select the 367-1013-ND option or the CP-AD-515 option where it says Price & Procurement? (top-right) If no difference and either one is fine then I'll just order whichever is default. Btw Max, thanks for the info.
