I've actually tried the install from scratch about 3 times at this point and I'm looking for things that I can try or confirm if there is anything wrong with the board or if I'm doing something wrong. My soldering skills are very rusty so I'm not sure if it's just bad on that level or if I have something hooked up wrong. I've observed the following:
1. When the RGB is hooked up to an 8-pin connection I get a black screen.
2. When I hook up the stock composite I get a solid light purple screen.
What is the quickest way to check the PPU and CPU are still operational? I've tried to cleanup my soldering points quite a bit and have checked continuity successfully on several pins that I know go straight through the boards. Any advice on how I can diagnose the problem from here? Below is a link to pictures of the job. Thank you for any direction.
