So I have a PC Engine, with an RGB Mod. This mod is using a mini din 8 output, currently to SCART. I would like to use my HD Retrovision cables, but those are expecting composite video to generate the sync while the RGB mod is providing sync from the expansion bus (C22 I think). Any way for this to work, or do I need to find another option?
Main issue is that even after doing a "jailbar fix" I'm still seeing them, thinking it may be due to noise from the SCART cable or the SCART to HDMI adapter. RGB mod is a basic one from Electronik-Repair. When I use a cheap Chinese expansion bus RGB amp with a din 9 connector and my HD Retrovision cables, it seems to work just fine. But not sure where it's pulling the sync from...
