I recently picked up an LG OLED to use with my OSSC, and in the process of researching I also found approximately 8 billion (give or take) internet forum posts warning about dreaded burn in using bob deinterlacing for 480i content.
I would love to use the OSSC's 4x bob mode, but I've seen a lot of conflicting information from those posts and the OSSC wiki about whether the flicker would cause burn in at a faster rate. If there's anyone knowledgeable about this, I'd love to know if this is a real fear or not.
