I'm trying to feed my 14L5 SMPTE colors to do the supposed "auto white balance calibration" but my menus simply don't have the option to select auto calibration.
Both the standard menu and service menu.
I read the owners manual and it says some options are unavailable depending on signal input type, but nothing is highlighted in blue as "unavailable" as the manual mentions would be if unavailable.
Am I missing something?
Can PVM-14L5 Auto Calibrate White Balance with RGB Signal?

Would presume it's more of a voltage/current regulation kind of calibration than what you're thinking?
... Either that or it's a feature designed to be used in conjunction with some other equipment? Because you'll still need a probe/spider of some kind to actually measure what is white (or not)... or your eye

If the TV supports Component Video, the feature may be limited to that signal.
Auto offset is often a feature on midlevel clamped video, which is the way Component works.
