Thinking about pulling the trigger on my first PVM, how does this screen look? Manufactured date is 1999.
Appreciate it.

Can't really tell much without running it through several of the 240p test suite tests, but it looks passable at a quick glance.

Thanks! Whats the best way to test it when I meet him in person?

...What pvm is it?
...What connections/expansion boards does it have.
...Choose your relevant 240p test suite+hardware to take with you, try and test beforehand if possible...
...Make sure you know how to access service menu for the model (in case, for whatever reason this really needs adjusting when you actually get a picture connected - don't waste seller's time tweaking for finesse for 2 hours. But what if geometry is totally fcked after image feed? Perhaps just needs a quick tweak. Plus you also want to check you can get to service menu - do the buttons work, does it need a remote ... etc. etc.).
ofc if there's something you intend to use 90% of the time with the screen you could just bring that... or even an dvd player with correct connection, and even better if you can load images for colour test/geometry via usb or sd or whatever.
...As ever, unless you know why you want it, or it's dirt cheap - you might be best off putting money/time into more contemporary solutions first. You can probably find decent consumer alternatives for less in Europe. But if you're US and all good with everything else, and just want a nice crt - go for it, and good luck.
