How do I connect my audio from my D-sub devices into these terminals?
Lets say I have a Dreamcast and a Toro: My D-sub goes into the device. What do I need coming out of the headphone jack of the tors going into the SW6?
2nd question. Does the audio auto switch with the video signal?
3rd question. What are the advantages of owning a remote control for this device?
Thanks

2) it does auto switch with the video by default, but
3) using the RS232 port on the device (labeled remote) allows the control device (crestron, control 4, PC, etc.) to select audio inputs independently of video as well as main video switch control

And did you flip the unit over? There's usually a diagram of how exactly to wire those Phoenix connectors up.mvsfan wrote:Extron stuff uses 5 pin Phoenix connectors. they are available on ebay usually.
It's also in the manual what those are and how to wire them (which is available on Extron's site).

I see that. I ordered phoenix connectors but I am still wondering what the base scenario for stereo RCA wiring would be.
