Method to transfer PS1/PS2 saves to usb drive?

Post by Fusion916 »

I want to backup all of my PS1/PS2 memory card saves to a usb drive to transfer to PC. What is the best and most reliable device to do this?

FMCB's uLaunchELF and a compatible PS2.
Normal copy+MCpaste for PS1-saves, copy+PSUpaste for PS2-saves.

Afaik, Action Replay MAX can do that, if only for PS2 saves.

wLaunchELF is the name of the newest versions

It's still being maintained by SP193 and is a totally separate project from FMCB BTW

As an alternative, what I do is make copies of my PS1/2 mem cards on my PS3 using a memory card to USB adapter. Then these can be copied to USB drives.

Should also be possible to get some Windows drivers for that memory card adapter.
