snes classic edition problem

Post by mvsfan »

I posted this in the snes classic thread but since its a hardware issue, i think it will be better to post it here.

I have an snes classic that will not turn on, and i get no power light on it. its not the usb port or hdmi, I opened the classic and took a look at them. no broken pins or anything and they have been cleaned too. i cleaned the ports.

do these systems have a fuse in them somewhere? where is it located?

anything else i could try?

No fuse as it does not take a high voltage/current as input, only 5V.

Are you plugging the USB into the power adapter it came with? If using a third-party one, it might not be supplying enough amps.
