Extron emotia + VSC 75

Post by Brando1975 »

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to use the VSC along with the emotia, I only need the geometric capabilities of the vsc, if I connect the vsc to the output of the emotia (monitor output) to vga input on the vsc I could lose the 240p in the process ?

Thanks!

The monitor output on the Emotia is just a loop through of the input. It's not processed and you don't get 240p using that output.

Also the VSC only offers geometry controls during it's 15khz conversion, so you can't really use it alongside the Emotia. What you need is a RGB interface with shifting controls.

If the monitor output on the emotia it's just a loop, how I connect the rgb interface to it?
PC --> RGB --> Emotia --> Monitor?

I assumed you wanted to shift around the 240p signal ?

Emotia -> BNC to VGA -> Interface -> monitor.

I can't find a RGB interface with v-size control, what can I use to adjust that alone with the emotia?

vertical sizing destroys your source pixel to TV line mapping. Why would you want to do that?

I need to correct the overscan, if it were a sony monitor/tv it would be easy but I'm testing a bosch monitor
