Hi all, I realise this subject has been covered many times but I'm a little confused.
I modded my duo r recently with a THS7316 based amp looked great but I couldn't get a picture on my FM (CRT was fine).
So I gathered it was a comp sync issue and made a LM1881 stripper and it seems to work well. After reading a bit more though I realise this is probably not needed and wondered what the alternatives are. I've seen people use the 7374 to buffer the csync output but I don't really want to buy a new amp.
Incidentally I tried this approach with my IFU 30 but it didnt work I don't think I'm getting a reliable 5v to power the LM1881?
