Sega Saturn controllers

I've seen a couple of devices with special adapters to allow connecting Sega Saturn controllers. Are they considered the best ones?

Their D-Pad is considered the best, and they have a good 2x3 button layout which is good for fighting games like Street Fighter (where punch is the top row, kick is the bottom) for example.

Yes, of all non micro switch based pads the Sega Saturn is really the best hands down. Otherwise the other best controller would be the Neo Geo pad.
