A question I've wanted to get to the bottom of for a while - every Extron 201/203Rxi I've had has a very sensitive peak/sharpness control. You turn the control knob about a 1/3 of the way around and nothing happens. Then for a very small window of further turning, the sharpness goes to full level and stays there for the final 2/3 of the turn.
By careful and finicky twiddling within that very small window, you can find a sharpness level that's between 0 and full, but there's no fine control as the window is so small. Would anyone know a way of broadening that window so the level of sharpness alters uniformly throughout the whole turn?
Extron 201/3Rxi peak/sharpness control too sensitive
