My original gamecube doesn't seem to make any difference in video quality from its SDTV setting to its EDTV setting using the gamecube component cable. A few years back I played Warioworld and the difference in quality was very noticable. Not anymore.
What does happen is the TV registers 480p when the setting is chosen, but there is no change in PQ.
On one of the Prince of Persia games the game crashes if you go to the 480p setting twice. It just locks up.
Has anyone else experienced this?
