Brook PS4/PS3 to NEO GEO Super Conv - Remap buttons?

Post by BuckoA51 »

Anyone got one of these little adapters and managed to get the button remapping feature to work? I've followed the steps in the instructions but it never seems to work. I was using a standard Dualshock 4 for testing and I've updated the firmware.

I’ve not had any issues with mine, using firmware 1.1 you need to hold the PS button with either T, C or R1 to swap on the fly. The settings will reset and default to A mode after power off. I use a Hori RAP with mine and either stick to the default or use the KOF layout without any issues.

Maybe try to update the firmware again or use a different controller, hopefully you can get it working as I love using mine with my Omega cmvs.

Hmm that's not what the instructions say...

step. 1

Press the PS and START (Press the PS and OPTIONS buttons for PS4 Gamepad) buttons at the same time. The converter's LED will turn on to indicate that you enter the settings mode. (this works)

step. 2

Transfer a function from one button to another. (Example: You want to use Square to do what O does now.)

1. Press the O button. (and release, presumably?)
2. Press and hold the SELECT button (Press and hold the SHARE button for PS4 Gamepad), then press the Square button. (press and release square button? I assume so else I'm going to run out of fingers)
3. Press the START button (Press the OPTIONS button for PS4 Gamepad) to complete the setting.

step. 3

Press the PS button to exit the settings mode.
