Rotateable TV mount?

Post by Arvandor »

I've got a 31" LCD that I've always wanted to mount to the wall in a way that would let me rotate it between tate mode and regular. Does anyone know of a mount that supports this unusual kind of articulation?

I have this set up. It took me a bit to find one that supported rotating the right way. I ended up on a website called http://www.wallmountworld.com, at the time they were the only ones offering wall mounts or even stands for TVs that rotated to portrait mode. *edit* I haven't searched since getting this so I don't know if more places/sites are offering this *edit* They are not cheap though just to give you a heads up.

This is the link to all their rotating TV mounts both wall and standing ones. https://www.wallmountworld.com/Rotating ... s/1791.htm

and this is the particular model I ended up getting. https://www.wallmountworld.com/Rotating ... rotate.htm

I've got a 50 inch tv up on it, but it will do up to 60, and I think there's even one now that will do up to a 70 inch set.

Here's a picture of mine in action.

That sounds like the one for me, if it'll work with my old TV. I don't need the full articulation, just the option to swap between landscape and portrait

I bought this one for my 55" TV. Works really well and it was pretty cheap too. It does mount the TV very close to the wall, so you'd have to make sure the cables will fit.

Not a wall mount but the Crimson AV DS134 is one of the excessively rare rotating stands that can hold a 32" and even a little bigger.

I was never able to import one though...

EDIT: oh forgot about the Ergotron 33-329-085 that might be more available outside of NA. It used to be very expensive but today only about 80 zeni.

That's the one everyone seems to end up referring to and it's usually in that $300 price range, but I bought what appears to be the exact same mount for $100 shipped. https://www.displays2go.com/P-28301/Swi ... ng-Bracket
Only had it for a few days but it seems fine so far.

Not a wall mount, but I bought a TV stand that rotates anti-clockwise. The building quality is quite impressive for the price, since i found a local dealer that sold it for 180€ shipped.

It can handle 37" to 70" TV's

Nice find on the cheaper version! I had not come across this site when I was looking, I wish I had, 200 bucks savings would have been nice.
