Any indication as to when the audio add-on will be offered as an option? Since I'll be running it to a Pioneer (with it's decent, but more importantly, front facing speakers), it's a fair consideration for me.

my famicom audio is very scrappy to begin with, maybe if it's somehow cleaned up (if possible) it will work correctly in the dvi+L/R -> hdmi unit.

As I have said, it works with Mega Drive. But not with RGBmodded Sharp Twin Famicom. I bought one of the first wave of DIY kits from Marqs, and had all the SMD components soldered before I detected that power and ground were shorted. It took me a month of weekends to find the short. Despite excellent assembly instructions and ample warning, I still managed to break one of the legs off of the LCD screen, and had to dremel my way back in to find a trace to solder to. OSSC has been working perfectly with all the sources I've tried so far.. until now.
I have Commodore 64 svideo output connected to Sony S-RGB transcoder, and the RGB SCART output from Sony transcoder connected to OSSC AV1 SCART input. The problem is OSSC detects the input signal, but output is totally black/empty. Any idea what might be causing this? Connecting the Sony transcoder directly to TV using RGB SCART works OK, so the problem is related to OSSC..
Bad: C64 svideo -> Sony S-RGB SCART -> OSSC -> TV.
Good: C64 svideo -> Sony S-RGB SCART -> TV.
OSSC reports the following information about the signal from C64 via Sony S-RGB transcoder:
AV1: RGBS 311p
15.63 kHz 50.27Hz

Try setting both H-PLL pre and post coast values to 3 or 4. Might also need a touch of Analogue sync LPF - as per the Wiki page - http://junkerhq.net/xrgb/index.php/C64

As far as I understand it, the PS1 is like the PS2 in regard to Hz: If you can play a game out of the console's native region it will run at its correct speed whatever; an NTSC J/U game will run at 60Hz on a PAL unit, and an NTSC console running a PAL game will do so at 50Hz. Changing the H-PLL pre/post values to 4 made the led change from red to green, but TV still shows black/empty screen.. I also tried playing with analog sync LPF, but that didn't seem to help. Not quite, as Bayonetta might say. The PS1 runs import games at almost the correct speed, but because the PAL PS1s timing crystal is tuned for PAL not NTSC, it's a significant fraction off. I think it's something like 59.08 instead of 59.94 (or thereabouts). I also tried with Dell monitor, and it also detects the OSSC output as 720x576 @ 50 Hz, but the image is all black..
Is the C64 refresh rate 50.27Hz "too far off" from 50.00 Hz perhaps? Svideo -> RGB Transcoder is Sony S-RGB YR-3000.

I've a PAL C64C and the exact same transcoder here. I noticed it didn't work with the PEXHDCAP (the picture comes and goes), but works with my TV. My C64 has a Lumafix board in it too but it worked before I fitted that.
Might be worth opening a thread on the official forum for this so people can compare results.

Yep. Like said my TV accept the C64 svideo -> Sony transcoder -> TV RGB SCART signal just fine, no problems with it. Out of curiosity, how does the net yaroze handle this? I am currently thinking about buying a new TV. As far as I can tell, my current Sony W655 does not seem to support the linetriple mode of the OSSC and I would consider buying a TV that does. Is there a list or overview that has all TV models that are currently known to support linetriple mode?

If you are in the US, Vizio would be your choice. Over here in Europe it's much more complicated and you probably would have to get a much more expensive Samsung to get low lag and possible 720p compatibility with the OSSC.Just wanted to check whether a solution exists that has low input lag, like the W655, and works with linetriple mode.
