Final Fight and Test button and dipswitch & Raiden Fight

OK please someone tell me how it works.
I have a cabinet with Final Fight
The test button in the cab does nothing.

Raiden Fighters does not have dip switches, but an operation menu?
Is this menu accessed with the test button?

And so is the test button just for 'newer' games then?

It all depends on the game... some use the testswitch and some (most) use dipswitches for accesing the test menu.
