I had this happen I was playing my Dreamcast, but my Saturn was plugged into the cable as well, but on the saturn no power cable.
Well, the led lighted up in my Saturn. WTF.
I unplugged the dreamcast and gave my Saturn power, what no sound??
Looking up:

After trying another cable it worked again, but damn, I was scared.
So to buy a Spider Cable?
