Progear Suicide Battery

Post by Grinning Cat »

I didn't know if I should put this in the trading section...but I'm basically looking for someone to change my Progear Battery for me.

Does anyone here know of anyone who'd be able to do this for me at a reasonable cost, ideally in the UK? Given my total lack of soldering skills, I really don't want to attempt it myself...

I beleive TJ or Dave will be able to thisd for you over at Killercabs. Dave's work is legendary and they won't charge you much for it either.

Go on over to www.killercabs.com/forum

Alternatively, you can ask Raz about the CPS2 suicide battery. I believe someone here mentioned that he can "de-suicide" it for a fee if you don't want to attempt to fix it yourself.

Yeah, I suppose getting it de-suicided would be the best solution - though instinct tells me it would probably be pretty expensive. I'll definitely look into it, if I can't find anyone to just swap the battery over, though...
