Neo Fami, big question

i know that there have been plenty of posts about this system, but I have a question that i believe has not been answered.

I have heard talk of a converter to play NES games on this unit. Is this included in box? Seperately? Depends?

I am very confused, so please help if you can, I want to play my nintendo games again.
