Xbox MAME question

I've just modded my Xbox and was wondering if I really need to get a big ass hard drive just to run MAME.

Well I ripped Final Burn XXX and about 200 CPS1, 2, Neo and shooter roms to my standard HD, and it's used up about 2Gb of the 4.5 available. Depends how much you actaully want to install, but if you're gonna be selective about what you play, then not really, no. Install the emu, and you can prolly fit 4-500 decent roms on there, enough for anyone I would think.
