XBOX magic box

Post by theevilfunkster »

Anyone know if there would be any problems running an X-arcade stick with a Dreamcast converter through an XBOX magic box?

Has anyone tried this? If so, is there much lag?

I would just get an XBOX X-Arcade converter but I'm a bit broke at the moment and these things let you use Saturn pads too.

No idea if it would work... but i know one thing for sure: the more converters you use, the more lag you'll notice.

Just suck it up, save up on cash and do what zaphod says.

I will eventually, they're just friggin expensive. I need a PS2 cable as well.

I've ordered a magic box now anyway so i'll see what happens when it arrives.

I own the Magic box and it is excellent. I use it for Street Fighter Anniversary Collection and Capcom Fighting Jam. My game has improved immensely, there is no input lag whatsoever. I will test it with DC pad later but Saturn and PS controllers work perfectly. For the setup you are planning to use, it should work just fine.

Well I just got this and no, an X-Arcade with a dreamcast adapter wont work. But goddamn this thing's awesome with a Saturn pad. I've tried it with Capcom vs SNK 2eo, Guilty Gear X2 and Metal Slug 3 and it's very responsive.
