controllers and superguns

Post by Neon »

I'm hopefully going to get a supergun soon with Saturn pads modded to neo-geo spec...I'm wondering if it would be possible to get a saturn>neo or psx>neo adapter so I can use one of my sticks instead of the pads without modifying the sticks

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

Are you buying Click-Stick's setup? If so, e-mail me first before he ships it.

The PSX/Neo converters work fine - there's a microscopic bit of lag present, but it's nothing that affects gameplay enough to be worth worrying about. The only real downside is that you're forced to use the default button layout, which may or may not annoy you.

Actually, I think I have one kicking around that I never use, if you want to get one on the cheap...

Last week I modded a Saturn pad to Neo spec. I felt SO guilty, I must have been holding the wire cutter over the controller cable for several minutes before gritting my teeth and cutting... I feel horrible for mutilating such a wonderful piece of equipment.

On the other hand, I had no second thoughts about hacking up a Playstation controller for my Neo -> PS1 convertor.
