I have a GBA SP that I have had for a couple of years. Just recently while playing a GBC game on it, I noticed that the I was getting a really extreme double image. It seemed to appear within the space of an hour. It's most noticable with text and menus. There will be a slight ghost of the image right above the image.
Also, when I switch the screen into wide mode, I can still see the black lines where the screen would end if it were GBC format. Almost like they are burned onto the screen.
I did not drop it, or leave it on and motionless for a long period of time, I was playing regularly when I noticed it. Any ideas as to what is wong? Is there a fix for it?
