I have this huge 20" Sony monitor. I have a cable for it to VGA also. It seems that there are three outputs on the back that plug into the cable. Anyway, I want to use it on a PC, but it's stuck at something like 70hz and is a sync-on-green monitor I believe. This would be an awesome tate monitor for Ikaruga (though I doubt it would ever work with a DC)
Now, I could buy a special $100 video card with 8 megs of ram to use with the thing. That's out of the question.
I've also seen a MAME port called ADVANCEMAME that's supposed to work with fixed freq monitors but I have no idea what to do.
I have a Radeon 9600. Is there a way to enable sync-on-green? Does anyone have any info on this? I found a couple of webpages, but they're a bit vague. thanks -dczx
