Hori real arcade pro compatibility ?

Post by LRa »

Hi,
I got an x-arcade solo and it works great.
I'm thinking of buying a Hori but I'm not sure how it will work on the pc and on the xbox.
I use mainly mame, will the Hori work good with mame ? does every ps to pc adapter will do the job?
Also will every ps to xbox adapter will do the job?
Thanks

I use the Hori Tekken 5 & Soul Caliber II stick for my MAME and console shooters and they work a treat! I've never had any problems with lag etc when i use the adapters.

I have a Hori RAP and it works great with MAME as well as on my other consoles. I haven't used it with an xbox, but I have used it with PC, DC, GC, and Saturn, and the only problem I've had so far is that 3rd strike on DC doesn't seem to like the converter I'm using. Other than that, no problems.

If you live in the US, I would recommend you pick up one of the PSX->USB converters from Radio Shack - they work perfectly and they're only $9.99.
