What's the story behind that one? Looks like that cab just spent a few years in a dungeon .. O_O

Should clean up nicely!
Can't believe those neon lights are still intact and still glow!
Must be impossible to find a replacement.

I wonder if the monitor rotates...

Lot of work ahead. Those cabs are heavy as s***. Bottom area is also illuminated. Monitor is a 28" screen with rotate mech and the bezels are missing :( I found out that it's possible to order neon lights in any shape... and it's not thaaaat expensive. The lightcovers might be an issue though... a fair amount of them are cracked. The cabs get the full sandblasting/powdercoating treatment. Last cab I had at this powdercoater guy was my E29. It came out pretty nice and pretty inexpensive.

That E29 is a bunch of beauty. What neon light color are you expecting to put on it?

You mean on the MT-8 cabinet? They have yellow translucent plastic covers. So plain white most likely :)

Thanks, but that's largely due to the care given to it by the previous owners. I didn't do a whole lot to clean it, just dusted the chassis as much as I could. Wish I had the fancy glowy marquee thing though =/

For complete bewilderment, I wonder if it's possible to map the DDR pads to the buttons and have it actually playable on there.

DDR does its own thing in regard to pad input; each side of the DDR pad has its own IO controller connected directly to the game PCB. The only inputs run through JAMMA are the left/right/select buttons, but I don't think the JAMMA pin out DDR uses is exactly normal either.

Hey Milspex - I just approved your debut post, so you can now post freely and your posts will appear instantly. I also deleted your duplicate post here. I guess you'd posted it twice in an attempt to see it appear on the site (only waiting for approval was the reason it didn't appear at once).

Congrats game! :D

Looks like it's in pretty good shape. You should post a pic of the two of them together once you get this one fixed up.
