This is my Irem Madonna, a rare japanese candy cabinet. It's smaller than the newer cabinets (Astro, Blasts, Windy..) and fits any place in a small flat as mine. It has a lovely 25" monitor under a dark glass that gives stunning images. I prefer smaller monitors over the 29" ones cause 15khz games look too pixelated...
I removed the original Nanao monitor while is being repaired for an Hantarex trisynch that allows me to swap between X360 or PCB games in seconds. The image quality in 15Khz isn't as good as in 31khz and scanlines are very thin as in some mame filters, but it's the price to pay to have a multysinc configuration..
Here with some Raiden IV action:

Here's the stalwart 64-bit powered Atari Jaguar console running Jeff Minter's classic Tempest 2000 on the ol' Egret II candy cab:
And another shot of Atari Jag T2K on the Egret II:
Only if Atari Corp. had made some Atari Jag Jamma conversion kits to get the word out that it was a cool gaming console for the arcade gaming crowd or just to promote the Atari Jag in the arcades. The Jag is capable of outputting in both Japanese RGB & Euro Scart formats with the proper cable setup besides the usual RF Switchbox, RCA composite video and S-Video A/V cables.
Arcade Factoid: Some Atari Games produced arcade games ran on modified Atari Jaguar hardware (with a SCSI HDD) including the famed arcade-based light gun game known as Area 51.

Its a possibility, but one of my PSU's is running a bit high even at minimum, keeping the cave boards stored away for the minute

Good man. Wouldn't want to see any more CAVE PCB's suffer the "Peaceful Death".kernow wrote:Its a possibility, but one of my PSU's is running a bit high even at minimum, keeping the cave boards stored away for the minute

It's fabric actually. Sorta like a flag. It is a one-of-a-kind item, but not an official one.AKRATEN wrote:Nice setup, Nice Cave Poster!?!?emphatic wrote:Cab already posted here, wall decoration is just up though:

Re: Show them if you've got them - Candy cabs
Just about finished my new 1L5B-panel for the new EGRET II:
Seimitsu LS-32-01 joystick with LS-40 shaft, Sanwa RG buttons. Akihabarashop Mesh Ball (Dark Hai). Will add a custom transparent dustwasher as soon as it arrives. For now I cut this out of a CD-R with a pair of scissors (the second attempt actually isn't broken like the one pictured):

you dont count the start button....kernow wrote:I see 5 buttons
other wise the 2l12b panels would only have 5 buttons per player
