TV on its side...

Post by MovingTarget »

So I tried turning my tv on its side for a vert shmup last night, and all the blues went purple, and other colours went other colours... It was particularly bad at the top left and bottom right parts of the screen.

Does anyone know whats going on here? Is there anyway to sort this out?

You didn't allow it to degauss, common newbie mistake

Just turn it off before you flip, turn it back on a minute or so after. If that doesn't work just unplug it, then turn it back on...that's how it works for my tv anyways. Your times might vary.

cool I'll try that. problem is the damn thing ways about 2 tonnes and is attached to a stand, so i have to put it on a couch which I also have to move into position, and that thing ways about 3 tonnes. Then put books under one side of the tv to make its horizontally aligned...

And its all just to play shienryu which is the only game I have that has that option lol Ofcourse I'll have to go through all that palaver to play and other games... *sigh*

cheers anyway, I'l prolly try it tonight

Then don't bother doing it. It's probably dangerous to tate huge TVs. Might break something setting it down.
