adjusting sensitivity on an x-arcade

Post by LRa »

Anyone knows how to?
I've opened it and I see the microswitch, but what do I do with them?
Thanks

Bend 'em towards the shaft for more sensitivity, away for less.

That's what I saw on x-gaming web, but I don't see how I can do that. How can I bend it towards the shaft if it's already touching the shaft?
Is it possible to post a picture?

Sorry, but I don't have a digital camera. The easiest way to get it the way you want it is just by experimenting with it. Open the stick and observe the microswitches. The actual switch is towards the base of the metal piece that extends towards the joystick shaft. Move the joystick around so you can see how much travel is required to activate the switch. You want to take a pair of pliers and bend the outer part of the metal piece so that the joystick doesn't have to travel as much. It may take a few adjustments to get it right where you want it, but you don't have to worry about breaking it or anything -- those metal pieces are pretty flexible.

So I have to bend this, toward the metal stick?
Won't it make the stick react slower since I'm moving it away from the switch?

Ok, I think I got it. I need to create an angle in the metal piece.
