Television recommendations?

Post by system11 »

Today I returned a Sony KV36HQ100 to the store (36" CRT). While it had an amazing picture, there was a huge delay between input and the image appearing due to all the processing - useless for games as you can't turn it off.

I want a widescreen, 36" or above, must be able to take PAL and NTSC RGB (so this is probably more for the european guys to answer), with no processing delay or excess motion blur? It can be CRT, LCD or Plasma.

cheers,
james

One minor note: these 100hz refresh displays won't work with PS2 lightgun games...if you cared.

That's what people have been pointing me to, but some oithers seem to think it has issues with 60hz.

Seriously, it's an absolute minefield out there - interested to hear opinions from anyone with any type of display 36" upwards.
