Will a Pal Saturn memory card work with jap saturn console

Right I'm buying a japanese sega saturn

Can I use my existing pal 4mb memory card with the japanese console or will I have to buy a japanese memory card of ebay?

Yes, all memory carts work for all regions. In fact, it's always been that way for every system up until the Gamecube.
