I would assume so, since it works on the DC. but I just thought I'd ask
Aslo, which type of PS1 boot disc should I get, assuming this works? On Ebay, I've found both "regular" PS1 GameShark discs, and GameShark Lite discs-the latter have less codes on them. If the Lite discs would work just as well as boot discs, then I'd rather go that option, as they're cheaper then the regular GameShark discs, and I could care less about using any of the game codes.
BTW, I have a PSone, the newer and smaller model, if that helps.
Can you use a PS1 GameShark disc as boot disc for imports??.

I don't think this PSone boot disc requires tabs, or anything like that:

Sort of. You stick it inside so that the sensors always detect that something is inside and won't freeze if you try to exchange discs.
I don't know if a GameShark will work though. GameFAQs has that FAQ about using the classic back port GS music player to swap discs but even with a spring, my GS v2.2 never allowed me to load imports.

Thanks for that info!
So, if this boot disc from modmonster doesn't come with a tab, can you just stick an object, like a small pen, inside to create the same effect? Or better yet, fashion one out of duct tape, or something like that?

Yeah, you can make it yourself. It's just plastic after all. You'll just need some adhesive to make it stick in place. A pen wouldn't hold in place. Just check up the web on how the shape should be or just find illustrated directions on installing the card and make a similar card to fit the narrow slot. If you email your supplier, they should be able to tell you what exactly to do if they're worth anything.
