So the reason for all this is only one channel that has closed: ファミっ子ワールド FAMICCO WORLD

This is a huge loss.

So we were able to save most of the lost replays. All links are updated.

What still appears to be missing:

-Sengoku Ace with Tengai
-Blazing Star with Hellhound
-Dodonpachi with C-S

Please excuse the dead links for now. This will hopefully change soon.

Thanks for the Dino 135 replay! Nice find!

Slightly higher score for RyuJin (1,463,170), same ship type as Perikles' replay: https://youtu.be/AxLdN0e4B-0?t=7800

I caught part of this as it was being streamed and it was the first time I had heard of the game.

Replay Burners just posted a Slap Fight counterstop and 17-loop clear that, unlike the one currently listed, is complete (except for skipping all the suicides at the end) and in high quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAzRjQbECyU

The video description does mention it being Slap Fight (Japan bootleg), I don't know if that makes a difference.

Slightly better 1941 score, considerably better quality for the Black Heart run and a Mazinger Z run that gets the counterstop quite a while earlier (thus scoring better):

Some superb strategies in there, I never dared to play with such a big ship - maybe I should adapt some of that for my own purposes at some point...

A few more, but before that, I have a question: 1944 should be in the Raizing section and Wangan Senso under the NMK faculty, correct? Capcom and Jaleco, respectively, only published those games, they didn't develop them.

On another note: does anyone know of a single legitimate Eight Forces clear/score video? Even a 1-ALL? I'm also surprised no one has mentioned any Bee Storm video yet, would've thought it was more popular than that.

Anyway, more games:

I've seen several videos but couldn't be bothered to go back and figure out which one's the best. For the sake of having something, though:

I.R. mode, Energy: 3,420,478,520 - http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14573416, http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14573575, http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14573739

I.R. mode, Bomb: 731,862,660 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A-o5wUyDyg
(I thought I.R. mode locked you to Energy, but apparently not?)

Combat mode, Bomb: 1,955,490,460 - http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14315313, http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14315351, http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14315443

Combat mode, Energy: 3,012,895,640 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-2UCU4C9XY

I don't think it's worth bothering splitting by ship type since you can freely change between shot patterns. I don't remember if the ships are any different when they're on the same shot type, but even if there is any difference it probably doesn't impact scoring/strategies significantly.

Anyone remember a 5 billion video of bee storm? I could have sworn I saw it after that week of STGT ended, and it was hosted on one of the chinese video sites, but I'm not sure if it ever got posted in the weekly stgt thread or score thread. It may have been posted in a twitch chat or youtube comment. I remember it because of the the magic pixel safespot for the stage 6 boss and also it had some weird way of tackling the stage 3 boss for a lot more points.

And about the shot types, I believe the red ship can get more combo for some reason, even if you just switch shots to the red shot with another ship. I don't really know why.

Really great to finally have these all in one place. I've been digging around to see what I might know that hasn't still been posted yet. Updates first:

R=Vasara
R=ship/character & score & name & link R=Saiga & 1.803.400 & TEN ? & http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm21917825
Was posted in the Hall of Records, assuming it's the same player as currently. (Great to see that awesome Vasara 2 replay too btw.)

R=R-Type Leo
R=score & name & link R=5.745.240 & BGR-44 & part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiMuKNHlQfo part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rXoReKEh6NM

Might be worth specifying that the first replay in the SDOJ table is for v1.5. There's also this replay, which is the highest score I've found with overflow turned off.

I still have the 27.5 million point Cyvern replay (the one with the nonexistent sound quality) from the old Superplay website, if it's actually wanted.

Now some new things maybe:

Saurus

Does that mean you have downloaded the replay before it was taken down? In this case, I would be very interested.

This is a tool-assisted replay. BGR-44 is a well-known cheater.

This channel belongs to BGR-44. All the videos are cheated.

Who's the player? Yes, very interested! Surprised noone has uploaded it yet from the two superplay backup channels.

Thanks also for the other links, will add everything later.

Since it may not be widely remembered, super-play.co.uk which was taken over by user spoot uploaded many of the replays there to a youtube channel, found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr-1DZ ... Z0n9w/feed

I uploaded the replay I had:

Cyvern - Ferious - 26818090 - Player NRK
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Jr_zUWe5HI

The high score on the board that NRK was using was 27.5m, but the replay demonstrates a score of 26.8m. I think it's the same one from superplay though, with the mentioned poor sound quality

Marginally higher score in Same! Same! Same! (66 million vs. the current entry's 64). Streamed on Twitch but currently not saved as a highlight, so this link may not last for long: http://www.twitch.tv/owarabi/v/178532454

Looks like you forgot (?) the non-BGR-44 videos that Nifty mentioned at the end of his post, Plasmo. :)

I found a War of Aero video with a really high score (almost WR, in fact) - it's unfortunately not terribly useful because it only shows the second loop as well, yet the player did all the checkpoint milking on loop 1... Nonetheless, a better result is a better result:

Didn't forget them, but I'm still thinking about it.

Xevious3DG is on hard difficulty. I probably cannot add that.
Hyper Duel looks like an extremely low effort. I cannot believe that this is the highest replay. It looks like a first random 1cc attempt (in a very easy game).
Purikura Daisakusen isn't even a shmup? And then I was thinking about taking Outzone from the list as well.

Those were my thoughts. All other replays have been added.

I don't know why it would outwardly give this impression (particularly when there already are replays on this list that basically are plain 1CCs). It keeps up the 100% perfect destruction bonuses for the whole game and optimises stage 5 well. If there's a higher-scoring replay uploaded somewhere I haven't found it yet.

You probably have a good point there. Many other replays on the list are not really worth to even list. But then again, if there is nothing else available, what can we do about it. In this sense, I will add the Hyper Duel replay. Thank you.

You're right that it's the highest scoring Lloyd replay, but there is a 2.3m replay by ZEK that I can record if there is substantial interest.

Any replay that is better than the ones listed in the opening post are always of great interest!

On another note, you will find some new replays in the list, e.g. Strikers 1945 II with Lightning (hardest ship to use, absolutely insane!), Gunbird 2 with Tavia (NMNB), Ordyne (score is way higher than the WR) and many others! Check them out.

Just to point out that in the Japanese records, for Ordyne they use the amount of crystal (in game currency) that the player finishes with to determine who has the record, not score.
