RQ: Twinbee Yahhoo!

Post by AWJ »

This game displays all the powerup bells you've collected as a column of icons on your edge of the screen. When you let a bell fall off the screen or die, this bell column drains away accompanied by a "point-tallying" sound effect, but you don't actually seem to get points. What is the significance of this bell column?

Also, if there's anything else non-obvious about this game that a novice player should know, feel free to tell me. I know what all the bell powerups are, and more or less understand the handheld weapons. The only thing I'm not sure about is how the game decides what hand to put a new weapon in if you already have both hands full, and if there's any way to manipulate this (e.g. in order to keep the big bomb in order to have an air-to-ground weapon)
