Ebay fist-fucking: item I sold in shipment purgatory

Commiserations, I'd hate to be dealing with ebay right now. :/ Fucked out there atm. Just got shafted by Fedex, who've helped themselves to a 2x bonus on something I shipped last November. Their dispute form appears to be shitting itself violently.

eBay is just the worst. The only thought of listing anything makes me feel ill. You’d think they’d wise up with their fees and all - it’s not like people don’t have other options. I do buy/sell locally; I haven’t had a package (inbound/outbound) cross borders in 3-4 years. It’s just insane the niche crap I wanted, and that I was hooked up with locally-ish.
