Can't believe they actually found this one. I tried it out for a bit. Seems very prototype-ish. A lot of dead air for up to 10 seconds where nothing's happening, and you can take a boatload of damage before you actually die (You have an enormous life meter).

Interesting find. Any idea where it originated from? I recall reading about this back in the day... sort of. Getting old.

Very cool that the ROM was finally published :)

Considering the branching stage layout and implementation of the respective junctions at the end of the stages, there's certainly some Darius inspiration at play.

The music's worth a listen, some of it has that characteristic "lo-fi orchestra" tonality of its era to it that almost sounds like it could originate from a SNES, which at times can sound a little corny to me these days, but there are some fun tunes to be unearthed!
