That's just what they told you.Mischief Maker wrote:Clearly! Let's explore how the Covid vaccine actually works:supergrafx77 wrote:It is clearly a bioweapon
Quick genetics lesson, kiddos! Your DNA can be viewed as a huge catalog of blueprints to manufacture all the many parts needed in your cells. When it's time to build a certain part, the area of DNA where the blueprint is located is unzipped and a short copy of that section is created. The copy is called "messenger RNA" or mRNA. The mRNA is taken to the ribosomes which are roughly equivalent to 3D printers. The ribosomes manufacture the cell part according to the mRNA's blueprint, then the mRNA is discarded and broken down.
The Covid vaccines are lab-manufactured mRNA strands that code for the Covid spike protein. So your cell takes in a strand of vaccine mRNA, prints a spike protein at the ribosomes, then discards the vaccine like any other mRNA strand. The process never involves your DNA at all.
Why print the spike protein? The Covid spike protein is roughly equivalent to a lockpick that allows the Covid virus to enter your cells and cause havok. The spike protein by itself floating around your bloodstream doesn't infect anything, but it does cause an immune response which results in your body manufacturing antibodies designed to latch onto the specific shape of covid-19 spikes. So when an actual covid-19 virus enters your bloodstream, its spike proteins are covered in antibodies so it can't even use its lockpick to enter your cells in the first place. Plus the antibodies act like a chemical alarm so other parts of your immune system can find and kill the virus.
So let's say you're unvaccinated, but you're such a healthy manly-man you will survive the covid-19 infection without noticeable symptoms. What is happening inside your body? Well the covid viruses, using their spike proteins, pierce your cells and vomit their own genetic material inside. This genetic material re-writes the DNA of that cell. Your infested cells then start rapidly manufacturing brand new covid-19 viruses until the cells literally burst and hundreds of new viruses pour into your bloodstream to infect new cells. Think the chestburster scene from "Alien," only instead of a single chestburster tearing out of his stomach, Kane explodes like a blood sausage in the microwave and hundreds of chestbursters fly in every direction. So while from the outside perspective you're just oiling yourself up and flexing without symptoms, there is still a lovecraftian horror show happening inside your body.
And while this is going on, you're a vector for pestilence, because many of the covid-19 particles bursting out of your cells are traveling to your lungs and being exhaled into every room you're walking through, waiting the chance to be breathed in by other people. If you're wearing a mask or two, most of the viruses you exhale will get caught in the mask fibers and won't harm anyone else.
But what's worse, every time one of your infested cells makes a copy the sick cells could fuck it up and cause a mutation. Most mutated viruses will be weaker or even dead, but every once in a while the mutant virus will be stronger with an altered spike lockpick that has an even easier time facehugging your cells and consequently are deadlier to younger/healthier people than the original wild-type covid-19.
And even if you survive the infection and your immune system kills off the covid by itself, the levels of Covid-19 antibody in your bloodstream are still lower than if you got the vaccine. Which is why so many Covid survivors get the vaccine afterward. Like Donald Trump. Who subsequently recommended his supporters get the vaccine.
TL;DR: The vaccine doesn't rewrite your DNA, but Covid-19 definitely does. Just because you don't feel symptoms during a Covid-19 infection doesn't mean a Cronenberg-esque horror show isn't happening inside your body or that you aren't an agent of pestilence while it happens. Donald Trump got the vaccine and encourages you to do the same.

While you're mentioning that, one of the things that was cited here and elsewhere along these lines is that supposedly if the virus was created in a lab its genetic sequence would have some sort of "tell" which would label it as such, but scientists were cited who said the "tell" wasn't there and as such they believed the virus wasn't artificial. Has anyone followed up with those sources in light of the information about the Wuhan lab workers having fallen ill shortly before the outbreak? Does anyone with the means/expertise to do so intend to take another look from that angle? Or was their conclusion misreported/misinterpreted?vol.2 wrote:Whether or not this was created in a lab (I think the jury is still out on that, but it looks very plausible)

First of all, cells don't have a watermark. They aren't signed or anything.
Second, a virus wouldn't need to be engineered or created. The silly video game and movie theories always gravitate to the most exterme and paranoid. Maybe they were studying viruses in bats and accidentally spread it. Doesn't necessarily have to be a Japanese situation of breeding disease, performing human vivi-sections, and trying to ship disease on balloons. Plenty of possibilities.

This is a much nicer way to say it than the post I was working on.BulletMagnet wrote:If someone says something so far divorced from reality on a matter of genuine importance (and, as was mentioned, is willing to take actions that affect other people based on it) I'm afraid there are only two possibilities: one, they don't actually believe a word they're saying and are only subscribing to such a ridiculous stance because it gives them cover for actions that would otherwise invite more drastic consequences ("you can't tell me not to do that, I have a right to my beliefs!"), or, two, they genuinely need serious mental help.Hoagtech wrote:People could say “the sky is purple and the government adds ink to the clouds to create a hue that brainwashes more efficiently” and regardless of my opinion. Re: COVID-19 in your part of the world
In the early months of the global pandemic there were research reports claiming that the spike receptors of the virus had 4 mutations (compared to previous known SARS-COVID viruses) that were unlikely to occur in nature. I recall reading that one such mutation can be expected to occur naturally in time, and it would be rare for 2 such mutations but not implausible, yet COVID-19 exhibited more than 2 - which suggested engineering.BulletMagnet wrote:[...] supposedly if the virus was created in a lab its genetic sequence would have some sort of "tell" which would label it as such, but scientists were cited who said the "tell" wasn't there and as such they believed the virus wasn't artificial. These reports were covered in major news outlets but I am unable to find any now. The scientific papers were withdrawn - so perhaps that avenue of analysis was off-base, or the gatekeepers just didn't want to fuel conjecture and conspiracy theories at that time.
Here is one article that was withdrawn but which mentions the issue.

So my student with positive test results got a 2nd test and turned up negative (just a couple days after the first test). I guess false positive results are extremely uncommon, but a thing nonetheless. We're all relieved.

Must admit, while not quite a phobia, I'm none too keen on needles. Honestly surprised by how painless it was, and how little effect it had. Mild numbness in the arm for an hour the day after was as bad as it got.

Re: COVID-19 in your part of the world
I just did the paper clip test on a coworker at work who said she was "fully vaxxed."
The paper clips (I tried two different kinds), were magnetic at point of jab, as well as the other opposing arm.
I did not try elsewhere on her body, however, with the same clips, I asked her to try my arm as well.
However, they did not stick/were not magnetic, on my arm, and fell right off.
She did not seem worried at all...
I forgot to ask her if she had taken the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, etc., not that I think it matters.
I asked her if I could take the two pics of the two different kinds of clips magnetically clinging to her arm, and she was ok with that.
I sent the pics to my kids who hopefully haven't taken it yet (under the guidance of the mother).
I've done all I can do, to protect those I truly care about. It is now, up to them. Hopefully, I'm not too late.
My friend, who drives UPS, I shared the info with and was alarmed as he had his whole family vaxxed except for one son who refuses to take it/for school or otherwise.
He is going to test himself w/ the paperclips tonight and get back to me. You guys who have fully vaxxed, I'm interested as well if the clip sticks.
Seeing the paperclip magnetism, before my own eyes, was very revealing.
I'm going to take a shower now.

Re: COVID-19 in your part of the world
Since the topic is here and I don't really have a lot of people to ask about this one: how do you (anyone who was ever tested) get the result for it? Anything specific, medical, what form, etc.
Not long ago one of my relatives actually took the test. uhh, okay mate, heh... So I just asked neutral how does it go and just info, have covid/not have covid, furthermore as a digital message. Sounds more like a coin toss and nothing to consult anyone about it, nothing for a second expert opinion.
The other thing is that getting covid does seem a bit easy, it goes more or less like that:
- Hello doctor, I sneezed last week - COVID!
- Hello doctor, didn't sleep well yesterday - COVID!
- Hello doctor, my ass is itching - COVID!
I don't know what you guys think, not suggesting anything and so, but getting back to question I'm really curious how it goes with the test results if anyone has experience.

Re: COVID-19 in your part of the world
I got myself tested once last year when someone I work with came down with the virus (and was subsequently hospitalized, thankfully he recovered) via a drive-thru thing at a CVS, and more recently at a doctor's office before I had some minor surgery done. I recall that both times the results were sent to me electronically, though I'm not sure offhand if other options were made available; both times the bottom line was simply "negative" (not sure how much more detailed one would expect them to get, really; it's either there or it isn't), though both results had CYA stuff attached along the lines of "this only indicates that no pathogens were found at the time of the test" and "continue to follow all mandated guidelines" and whatnot. I didn't exhibit any prior symptoms either time, I suppose I should note.
No idea if the process is much the same whenever you are and whoever's doing it, but that's more or less how it went for me.

Thanks and quite the same here from what I was told by family. By the way did read the story of your surgery and oh boy, unbelievable unless we're talking some "plastic surgery" to make you all shiny. This is by far not meant against you, what I mean is that from health care doesn't sound like United States of America, more like United Tribes of the Great Wood.BulletMagnet wrote:No idea if the process is much the same whenever you are and whoever's doing it, but that's more or less how it went for me.
If doctor/expert conclude necessary intervention + insurance = no cost, save traveling maybe? Also maybe some waiting time against possibly going private faster and for more comfort but the bare minimum is common sense and sounds like it just isn't there in US in that department.
(PS)
Oh mind you, how do I bring the problem is US, sort of between the lines but I'm not stating it as a fact, may as well consider it only partly related to your experience on that.
