Two were rebuilt from original source code with some tweaks to the executable, and the third was much easier than that.
Not sure who is familiar with the history, but these bits of software were what was shown heavily in screenshots in Edge / Next Generation magazine back in the 90's, and were also shown to Sega / Nintendo to attempt to sell the M2 to them for their successors to the 64 / Saturn

Ah yes, distinctly recall those Next Generation screenshots, particularly the Green Goblin dude. Typing this I'm remembering that magazine's nice glossy print stock and binding, too. Was a neat little transitional epoch, that. Ads for dodgy CD-i stuff next to the best of the latter-day SNES/Genesis, everybody slamming Sega for SS Daytona and VF's performance... apologies for the tangent, thanks for the memories.

Yeah Edge hyped the hell out this game for M2. Glad it survived and is now in a playable state
