If you haven’t checked this game out yet, you owe it to yourself. Weird animal survival and evolution sim where dogs can fight and take down lions, all in a ruined Tokyo.

I’ve been doing an entire season on YouTube about odd games, and I had to showcase this one. Just like Ai Cho Aniki last week, this is another game I feel doesn’t get the credit it deserves. So if you are remotely into a survival game, pick it up and play it. Dirt cheap on eBay!

It's crazy how you start learning the ropes more and more, what you should and shouldn't do, the random factor etc.

The worst is when your favorite animal you’ve spent dozens of hours with finally dies. Damn near heartbreaking!

i had a friend recently playing tokyo jungle with her roommate - did something make it relevant, again? i never got particularly far in it when i played it ages ago despite enjoying it, i think i was going through some heavy anxiety and the game exacerbated it because it can be a tad stressful. good stuff, mind you, i just wasn't in a good mental state.

It's a wonderful game. Story mode is really good, too. I wonder what happened to Crispy's after this(and Ranko Tsukigime, also wonderful).

I have no idea to be honest. They helped develop Ranko Tsukigime's Longest Day(which was weird as F and enjoyable), but I haven't seen anything since.
