Capcom PCB Instruction Card Variation

Post by Rupert H »

I’ve noticed that at some point during the CPS-II cycle of PCB releases, Capcom started releasing PCBs with two different sets of instruction cards. They would do two separate smaller cards (laying flat in the middle of the below picture) and one big card that occupies roughly the same amount of space (standing up at the top of the picture). They both contain the same information so I’m fairly sure they’re not supposed to be displayed together.

What is the intended use for these? Is the single big card intended for display on particular cabs?

Okay, I’ll answer my own question in case anybody wants this information in the future. Having translated the back of a Capcom PCB manual, it seems the two smaller individual instruction cards (labelled A + B) are intended for table top cabs while the large single instruction card (labelled C) is intended for upright cabs.
