It runs off any USB. There is no power adapter for a wall socket.

It doesn't matter where in the world you plug it in as long as its in a USB socket of something.

If your wanting a Japanese neo geo mini, it won't be any different on the inside than the UK version. It will come with the exact same innards and USB cable as the Japanese version.

The games are different and the colours and design of the plastic outside exterior are different, but everything else is the same.

Just buy one, plug the USB cable into the neo geo mini, put the other end in your monitor/TV/PC/USB hub and press the power on button.

For the record, NES mini and SNES mini use this practice as well. No power sockets needed, no transformers, nothing. Just plug n play baby.

With these neo geo mini's etc, you don't plug it into the wall. And USB uses about 5v of power worldwide no matter where its plugged into. Thats why its convenient.

If you want to buy a German wall socket adapter to USB, that will work fine.

Or just plug it into something that has USB. Simple.

it took some of the smartest engineers in the world over 40 years to figure this out. (low voltage power has always been a mess of power adapters and different plugs, voltages.) But yeah, usb power is great. it works anywhere. and you dont even need a power adapter just plug into a usb port.

the snes mini and many other usb powered systems can be powered off the usb port on your tv, for example.
