The reason Japan doesn't track console game scores/times
Re: The reason Japan doesn't track console game scores/times
I know Amiga Power and Your Sinclair, both U.K.-based publications, each had a regular arcade column, but they were mostly just "check out this cool new game at your local arcade". They never really went in-depth with any of the games they covered. I would imagine France likely had some sort of arcade magazine, since they always had a Japanophile subculture since the 80's, but I'm not too familiar with any French video game magazines from the era.

To have such magazine you need to have high culture of arcades in your country
Perhaps Brazil?
